Neona: *she sat back in the grass in the shade of a large willow tree, relaxing before school started, she wanted to relax*
Bianca: *she'd been following a little honeybee she'd been talking to with just her only hand. She walked up to a large willow, and saw it land on a small little lilac struggling to grow at the base of the tree. It was showing her around the more wooded area, to give her a sense of familiarity. Just before she was able to give a response, it flew off in urgency, like there was a disturbance. She looked behind and around her, but saw no one. She tried smelling around to see if there was any sort of threat, but she only came across... Ms. Neona, lying down where the tree's roots grew around her, forming a sort of arm rest for her. She was about to sneak back to find the bee, but one of the roots tripped her, and she yelped as she fell on the dirt*
Neona : *she looked around the tree and saw a student, who she had assumed was Bianca had fallen* Oh my god! Are you alright? *she stood up to help her up* Are you hurt? Is everything ok?
Bianca: *she'd been picked up by the teacher, seemingly worrying her wits about her. She wasn't hurt, but she did get a bit dirty. Her compound eyes saw several of the same face at once, startling her a bit. She tried to relieve the young woman by telling her she was okay, but she was interrupted by one worried question after another* ...Yes ma'am, I-- ...No, I'm-- ...Ma'am, I'm perfectly--...!
Neona: *she saw the girl was a bit concerned about the girl but she stood back and let the girl breath* I'm sorry. Please say anything you need. I'll stop talking for a bit. *she stopped talking and smiled* go ahead~
Bianca: *she sighed with a bit of annoyance and spoke in monotone* ...I am not hurt, ma'am. My clothes have got some dirt on them, but I'm sure I can wash and dry them without any difficulty. *she brushed herself off, though she always had trouble with wiping off her left arm. She only had one good arm after all. She swung her right sleeve over to her shoulder, and she tried to catch it with her mouth. The way she normally wiped things off her sweater was by using her other sleeve as a cloth to clean it mildly* *she didn't intend for it, but her antics made her look rather silly, baring her teeth every time the sleeve would swing her way*
Neona : *she nodded her head and continued to be quiet, She let the girl do things the way she wanted to do them and did not intend to help her, since she was sure that she had been doing it her whole life. Plus the things she had seen were nothing in comparison*
Bianca: *she managed to catch it, and began sliding and wiping it across her other sleeve. While held on by her mouth, she spoke in the same tone, but through her teeth* ...Don't the 'teachersh' -ugh- have 'ashignmentsh' to -ah- prepare...? *she continued to rub the sleeve, and her teeth lost its grip. The loose sleeve was flung into her face, and she huffed*
Neona: *she smiled* Well, all the teachers have already prepared for the classes that are going to be going on. *she nodded and picked up a book that she had been reading* So no need to worry about it
Bianca: *she spoke briefly with the sleeve still over her face* ...You're rather laid-back, ma'am... *she shook the sleeve off, and brushed her bangs with her hand* ...Surely, there's something that can be done...? Like the seating arrangements, due dates, something...?? *she was the one to talk, following bees everywhere to pass the time. Despite being withdrawn and lacking in active socializing, she was quite a workaholic. That quality would either be a surprise, or painfully obvious*
Neona: Well I'm afraid everything is done and taken care of. So don't worry. And yes I do like to be laid back *she smiled and put her book under under her arm* Well what were you doing out here, and then so intent on running off your tripped? *she asked raising an eyebrow*
Bianca: *a bumblebee buzzed onto the tree, though it wasn't the same one. She flushed at the teacher's question, and put her hand on the tree near the bee. Her compound vision allowed for her to face the teacher while seeing the bee at the same time. She tapped and moved her fingers rhythmically on the bark, attempting to multi-task* ...I was, er... talking to someone. Yes...
Neona : *she looked at the bee and then at the girl* Can you talk to insects? *she said more interested into what she could do then anything else* Though I'm not sure if you would want to tell me. I a ma teacher and all that
Bianca: *she continued tapping, the bee seeming to move in patterns alongside her. She kept pausing as she answered the woman, trying to keep a part of herself occupied with her conversation with the bug* ...Um, not... quite... like... most would... think. *she coded a farewell to it, and she dropped her hand to her side* ...Rest assured, ma'am, I do not intend on using them to cheat. *even if she tried to do so, regular bees and insects can't maintain an attention span that would give her an advantage. As soon as they would land on the student's desk, they'd forget why they did*
Neona : *she nodded* Well I didn't think that it would give you an advantage. I was just asking out of interest. *she smiled and looked at the bee* They are amazing though~
Bianca: *she flushed a bit, even though that it wasn't an intentional compliment. She just cleared her throat, and proceeded to tap her fingers next to it. It wiggled back, and she translated to the teacher* ...He says... he'll tell his co-workers about you... so that when their nest dies... they'll make use of you. *she didn't have a change in either expression or tone of voice, only being a straightforward messenger*
Neona : *sat and listened to what she was saying* Oh and how will he make use of me? *she asked unsure about whether or not the message was a threat*
Bianca: *she spoke rather nonchalantly, but still in her usual monotone* ...You see, ma'am, you smell like a tree for us, him and me... So, he thinks you're just another tree. *at the same time, she was moving her fingers around, trying to convince it that she wasn't really a tree. Unfortunately, it's hard to argue with insects. They're almost like nature's robots, that is, if they sense something, they conclude it as being the thing they sense. Rather precise yet still small brains, they have*
Neona: *she nodded her head* Oh I see. Well i hope they realize that I'm not a tree. *she bit her lip and nodded* Well I can't imagine that it will work for them
Bianca: *continuing to try and persuade the insect, she only grunted in response as she was listening to her. The bee, as expected, wouldn't really budge on the idea. She just dropped her hand and sighed. The bee then buzzed over onto Ms. Neona's shoulder, and she stared at it. Her purplish eyes reflected the sunlight in little segments* ...Pardon, ma'am. *she reached over and gently tapped her fingers on her skin, in their usual rhythm. The bee danced a little, shook its abdomen, then flew away. Her eyes followed it, and she translated for her teacher* ...He says he couldn't get over the scent. He's going to get some of the co-workers to come by. *she brushes her shoulder* ...He put a bit of pollen on you.
Neona: *she smiled and thought for a bit* hmmm well maybe if he had another place to put his home, instead of on me. Then your bumblebee friend would be more content and possibly leave me alone? *she smiled and put her book on the ground once more* Though I suppose it could be wishful thinking as well
Bianca: *she shook her head and even smirked a little* ...I wouldn't worry, ma'am. He'll probably forget about you by the time he gets there. *she gave a last sweep of her shoulder* ...The pollen would be a reminder, but... *she sprinkles it around the grass* ...He'd only pick it up if you came by. *she clapped her hands to finish up* ...But... I suppose that's not true now. *she knelt over to the weak lilac, admiring its smell. Even though she wasn't much of a gardener, she did enjoy being in the presence of plants like most insects. She tilted her head up a bit, but didn't totally face Ms. Neona* ...At least he tried to compliment you...
Neona : *she smiled* Well I suppose then I'm alright. *she looked at the lilac* And yes it definitley can be considered as a compliment. Oddly one I have heard more than once lately *she twisted her hand and her eyes glint a bit of green. The lilac grew to be taller and more vibrant. The plant was more alive then before* I suppose the only thing we can hope for is that him and his family get a good home
Bianca: *she opened her eyes wider in surprise as the flower grew. Its leaves radiated a healthy green, and the flower petals bloomed an elegant lavender. She just looked blankly at it, and wrapped her sleeves around her knees as she watched it. She could smell it despite her head being about a foot away from it, along with a bit of the bee's pollen spread around the grass. Though she didn't turn her head away, she could still see Ms. Neona beside her, and she kept her focus on her. At first impressions, she seemed like a bit of an annoyance, being rather giddy when she first came into the school. But... she tried to shrug it off, but she was aware there might sort of be a... connection? Maybe it only made sense, she was a were-wasp, she was a nymph... she just shook her head at the thought, and sighed* ...I... do believe I should be on may way, ma'am. *she lifts her short self up from the dirt, and bowed her head to her* ...A... pleasure for the visit...
Neona: *she smiled happily* of course Bianca. Thank you for all of your help with the bee. I do really appreciate it *she poiced up her book from the ground* If you need anything at all please feel free to come to me for help. *she said everything as a curtacy, she wanted to make her students feel welcome, but she could tell Bianca enjoyed relying on herself*
Bianca: *she nods, and makes her way back to her dorm room... wondering a bit if she'd want to actually come and talk next time*
